Prior to starting my aviation journey, I worked in national security. The sky was my escape, and I became a CFI to help others discover the tranquility and adventure of flying. I teach out of San Carlos Airport (KSQL) and Palo Alto Airport (KPAO) with West Valley Flying Club.

I specialize in mountain flying and complex/high performance aircraft, and use a structured approach to Private and Commercial training to ensure you get the most out of each hour in the airplane. I’d love to work with you on beginning your aviation journey, obtaining a new rating, getting familiar with a new aircraft or area, or completing a flight review.

Training generally begins with an initial conversation about your goals, experience, and timeline, and I work to structure the training process to what you need. In addition to the minimum requirements for a rating, we’ll also build in important real-world experience that will make you a safer and more capable aviator.
